A magical Christmas adventure awaits at Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay.
Back for its 10th edition from 1 December ’23 to 1 January ’24, this year’s yuletide fair covers more than 27,000 square metres in three zones: Supertree Grove, Frosty’s Fairground at The Meadow and Gingerbread Grove.
Get ready to soak up those festive vibes through dazzling light displays, a real-life gingerbread house, carnival games and rides, live performances, festive food and drinks, and much more.
We highlight eight magical Christmas Wonderland sights and experiences that are guaranteed to dazzle and delight every member of the family.
Spalliera
Standing majestically at 20 metres tall, the stunning Spalliera is intricately handmade by Italian craftsmen. Lit by 103,000 bubs, the light installation features a design inspired by Mesola Castle in north Italy’s province of Ferrara.
Fun fact: One of the properties of an ancient and noble Italian family, Mesola Castle is unique for its four towers that are positioned at 45 degrees to the main building, giving the castle a distinct architectural shape. This feature is replicated in the design of the Spalliera.
Garden Rhapsody Light & Sound Show
Soak up the festive cheer amidst the Supertrees through music and magical lights that glint and glimmer in time to beloved Christmas tunes. Shows are held at 7.45pm, 8.45pm and 9.35pm daily.
Blizzard Time
Experience “snow” in the tropics as Blizzard Time makes its full scale return this year! Flecks of “snow” will fall immediately after each Garden Rhapsody light and sound show.
Frosty’s Fairground
Hop onto classic amusement rides by Uncle Ringo such as Bumper Cars, Carousel, Flying Dumbo and Hot Air Balloon. Rides start from $8 and tickets can be purchased onsite via QR code.
More fun awaits at LumiLand, an illuminated playground where there are enchantingly lit seesaws, swings and LED fixtures for the little ones to enjoy. Admission to LumiLand is free.
Carnival Games
Have a go at fun carnival games like Ring Toss, Fishy Fishy and Blockbuster at Supertree Grove and Frosty’s Fairground. You might even get to take home a prize! Each game starts from $6.
Walk of Lights
An Insta-famous spot, this 65-metre-long light tunnel evokes the beauty of the night sky and is studded with 75,000 programmable LED lights.
Gingerbread Grove
Situated between Supertree Grove and Frosty’s Fairground is the vibrantly lit Gingerbread Grove, set on a field of illuminated candy canes.
Festive Eats & Shopping
Tuck into festive fare by Burger & Lobster, Kebabs Faktory and Sofnade, and wash it all down with festive tipples from a whimsical Christmas-cracker themed bar by Hendrick’s Gin or Brewerkz’s craft beer bar.
