TRAVEL TIPS

Transportation
Singapore’s MRT system is very efficient. Simply tap in using a chip-enabled Visa or Mastercard and tap again to exit. You may also use the SimplyGo card. Alternatively, get around using shared bicycles which are widely available across Singapore.

Budget Tips
Many attractions are free such as Merlion Park, parts of Gardens by the Bay, and the Supertree light show. Eat at Singapore hawker centres which offer budget-friendly meals and a wide range of local flavours.

What to Wear
Light summer clothing is recommended, but bring along a lightweight jacket to stay warm in cold air-conditioned spaces.
