Music fans are in for a treat as MARQUEE Singapore has lined up a series of virtual events in celebration of its first birthday.
The nightclub, which sports a full-sized, eight-armed Ferris Wheel, has asked famous Dutch electronic dance music duo Showtek to create an exclusive mix which fans can stream from Showtek’s Mixcloud channel on 17 July. The link will be shared on MARQUEE’s Facebook and Instagram accounts on 17 July.
On 24 July, from 9pm to 11pm, the nightclub will host a virtual event #WePartyPurple: Ferris Wheel Edition on Twitch, which will be headlined by Trance duo Aly & Fila and Australian trance vocalist Emma Hewitt, who has worked with some of the most prominent DJs in the trance music scene, including Markus Schulz, Andrew Rayel and Cosmic Gate. The event will feature an opening set by a MARQUEE resident DJ, a short sing-along session with Emma Hewitt, followed by a DJ set from Aly & Fila to cap off the night.
Fans are also invited to create their own version of the nightclub’s iconic Big Q Ferris Wheel and share it on Instagram. From 10 July to 25 July, use an IGS template of the iconic Ferris Wheel made available on MARQUEE’s IGS Highlights. Fans are encouraged to get creative in their version of the Biq Q, and to post on Instagram stories, tagging @marqueesingapore.
The nightclub has also created an IGS template of the Ferris Wheel pod, which fans can use to create their own version of a “pod gathering” using IGS GIFs. They can then post it on Instagram stories, tagging @marqueesingapore. The most creative entry for both the Ferris Wheel and Ferris Wheel Pod will both be featured on MARQUEE’s Instagram and during the virtual event.
There’s also the My Marquee Crew campaign where fans are encouraged to post their favourite MARQUEE Ferris Wheel photo on Instagram, tagging @marqueesingapore #WePartyPurple, and include their most creative caption. The most creative entry will be featured across MARQUEE’s social media platforms.
